A milestone worth celebrating: 59 student-teachers are now ready to lead classrooms.

In March, we celebrated a meaningful milestone — 59 student-teachers from indigenous communities have successfully completed the Teacher Preparation Centre (TPC) and received their certificates of completion, outstanding awards.

These graduates are more than newly trained educators. They are community changemakers, stepping forward to ensure that children continue to learn, even in the most challenging contexts.

Through RISE’s TPC program, they have strengthened not only their teaching skills, but also their commitment to inclusive, community-based education — where language, culture, and identity are recognized as essential to learning.

By investing in these 59 educators, we are investing in continuity, resilience, and the future of indigenous communities.

👏Congratulations to all graduates. Your journey is just beginning — and your impact will go far beyond the classroom.
